Thomas Charles Raucci

Thomas C. Raucci, 53, of Milford, entered into eternal life unexpectedly and suddenly on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Yale New Haven Hospital.

Born November 21, 1967 in Bridgeport, CT, the son of the late Paul and Helen (McGowan) Raucci, he was a Milford resident his entire life.  Tom was a graduate of the Joseph A. Foran High School and had worked as a mason for Bismark Construction Company for many years.  He was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local 1. Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends and cheering on his favorite teams, the New York Mets and the Denver Broncos.  

One of the proudest moments in Tom’s life was the birth of his daughter, Gina in 1996. They made many memories together, highlighted by driving her in the 2013 Milford St. Patrick’s Day Parade when she was Miss Emerald Isle.

Tom is survived by his daughter Gina, who he loved and adored, his former wife and dear friend Beth Carbone, his sister MaryEllen Bagley and her husband Jim, and brothers Paul and his wife Kay, Rick and his wife Barbara, and Michael and his wife Kathy all of Milford.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Rick, Kim, Annie, Becca, Jeffrey, Allie, Paige, Jill and Sarah.  He also leaves aunts, cousins and a special circle of friends who stood with him through everything and his gentle giant Seamus, the Irish Wolfhound, who Tom brought to many a Milford St. Patrick’s Day Parades.

A Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church in Milford will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
