Thomas J. Nuzzaci

It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas J Nuzzaci, 87, a resident of Stratford, announces his passing. Tom passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Tom was born on June 7, 1931 in Monessen, PA.  He was the son of late Ralph & Cosima Nuzzaci.  Tom was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Wally Nuzzaci. Tom is survived by his two sons, David T Nuzzaci, (Michelle) and Jonathan P. Nuzzaci (Laura) and his grandchildren, Jackson, Jessica, Blake, Brittany & Lance.

After serving in the US Air Force in the Korean War, Tom continued to serve his country as a Band Member of the US Air Force Marching Band, touring the world for 2 years. Now married, Tom graduated Roger Morris College in 3 years. His corporate career would last for the next 55 years. Tom’s work ethic was second to none. Upon his retirement at the age of 81 as CFO of North Sails Group, Tom was able to spend more time perfecting his golf swing and spending time with his dear friends and buddies at Great River Golf Club. Tom passions included the Pittsburgh Steelers, BMWs, traveling, big band music and his flowers. Tom’s true loves: WORK, GOLF, and FAMILY. Tom’s first and only Hole – In – One came just 4 years ago after playing the game of golf for 42 years. Toms called it “one of the greatest days of his life!” Tom’s advice was, “Find time in your day to Play”. Lastly, Tom always had a smile on his face when he was with his grandchildren, they shared his love of the Steelers, Golf and BMW’s, nothing to him was better than that. Tom lived and loved LIFE…  He will be greatly missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Proper Golf Attire Required. Interment will be private.
