Susan M. Bottino, age 76, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on April 7, 2024. Born on December 25, 1947 in Bridgeport CT, she was the daughter of the late John Jr. and Annabelle Comerford.
Susan adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her entire family was the light of her life. She really enjoyed baking tasty desserts and always looked forward to bringing a much-loved special dish to every family event. Summer picnics were never complete without her famous potato salad. In her spare time, she could not wait to gather family and friends for a trip up to the casino where she loved to play bingo, slots and grab a bite to eat. She worked for many years and was a dedicated employee on the assembly line at Sikorsky Aircraft, where she made many lifelong friends. In addition, she was a breast cancer survivor who attended many fundraising events so that she could help others battling the same illness. Most of all we will miss her beautiful smile and contagious laughter as we spent quality time sharing stories while enjoying each other’s company. She was a kind, caring, generous person who held her heart and arms wide open to all.
Susan is survived by her beloved children Ronald (Lisa) Bottino Jr., Duane (Laura) Bottino, Scott (Danielle) Bottino, and Dawn Bottino; grandchildren Brittney, Lindsey, and Brandon Bottino, Ava Bottino, Tyler (Krystal) Bottino, Nick (Stephanie) Lemire, Kayla Spencer, and great-grandchildren King Esposito, Tyler Jr. and Shaun Bottino, and Chaylo LaBianca. She is also survived by her sister Patty (Hank) Hutnik, brothers Tom (Sheila) Comerford, David (Carmen) Comerford, and Paul Anzellotti, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
