Stanley B. Lee, Jr.

Stanley B. Lee, Jr., age 87 of Bridgeport, CT, beloved husband to Shirley Lee Freitag, left this earth and departed to heaven peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2018.  Born on October 2, 1931 in Norwalk, CT, he was the son of the late Stanley and Marion Northrup Lee.

Stanley served in the United States Navy and after his active term of service, in the Reserves.  He was retired from the City of Norwalk, Department of Public Works.  Stanley was an avid NASCAR fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching his races.  He enjoyed spending time with his loving family as well as his daily walks with his wife and their dogs, Cody and Chloe.  Stanley was a kind hearted soul who touched many people's hearts.  He possessed a charming, quiet demeanor and was capable of making friends wherever he went. 

In addition to his loving wife, Shirley, Stanley was predeceased by his sister, Virginia Lee McGarry as well as the brother to Shirley Lee Rische.  He was the loving father to Leslie Lee Carriero (John)  and Sean J. Lee , Karen Lee, Dawn Lee Desmarais, Sharon Lee and Michael Lee (Victoria) .  Stanley was the proud grandfather of Kyle John Carriero and Zachary Ryan Lee as well as his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life with Military Honors will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.  Interment will be private. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
