Robert Paul Rosa Sr.

Robert Paul Rosa Sr, “Bob”, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023. Bob was born on December 12, 1933 in Stamford, CT to the late Paul and Anna Rosa. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Rosa, whom he joins in heaven.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army as a radio specialist during a time when his expertise and dedication were greatly needed. Professionally, Bob was an accomplished accountant, primarily working with law firms. His meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills made him an invaluable asset in the financial world.

An active and dedicated member of the St. Agnes Church in Milford, his strong faith led him to become a Eucharistic minister, where he found great fulfillment in serving his fellow parishioners and spreading the message of love and compassion. Bob was deeply involved in the Milford community, where he was a proud member of the Republican Town Committee.

Bob is survived by his three beloved children: Margaret Rosa, Robert Rosa Jr. (wife Laura), and Elisabeth Rosa. Six grandchildren: Brad Rosa, Robert Lockwood, Ryan Lockwood, Kyle Rosa, Katelynn Rosa, and Lindsey Rosa. Two great grandchildren: Bradley Jr. and Ayden. Three honorary great grandchildren: Madaleine, Nora and Ryker. Sister-in-law Margaret McDonald, niece Ellyn, niece Suzanne and niece Elizabeth. As well as many additional beloved family and friends. Bob is predeceased by his brother Paul Rosa Jr.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday November 9th, 2023 at Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St., Milford CT 06460) from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial is to be held on Friday November 10, 2023 at St. Agnes Church (400 Merwin Ave, Milford, CT 06460, PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH) 10:30 a.m. with Interment to follow at Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford CT.
