Richard P. Sweedler

Richard P. Sweedler, Sr., 72, of Milford, beloved husband of Patricia (Gay) Sweedler, passed away on February 5, 2019. Born on September 17, 1946 in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Nathan and Joan (Verilli) Sweedler.  Rich was an avid sports fan; he loved rooting for the Yankees and the Vikings. In addition to his wife, Pat, Rich is survived by his children, Richard (Tara Lindberg) Sweedler, Jr., Tammy (Anthony) Guinto, Carrie Sweedler, Alysa Sweedler and Alejandra Sweedler; and his grandchildren, Madelyn, Zackery, Jared and Devin Sweedler.  

Friends and family may call on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
