Mark Anthony Vaccaro

January 10, 1960 ~ April 24, 2021 (age 61)

It is with deep sorrow in that we mourn the passing of Mark Anthony Vaccaro who passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 24, 2021. Born on January 10, 1960 in Peekskill, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Anita Vaccaro. Mark is survived by Diane, his beloved wife and best friend for over twenty years. They shared a relationship based on mutual support and a deep love for each other.

A lifelong resident of Milford, Mark began his career with UPS in 1996, was a member of Teamsters Local 191 and had just recently retired.

Mark was known for his quick wit and his kind and compassionate spirit. He possessed an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily routine, was an avid sports fan and had an “outstanding” knowledge and passion for music. The simplest pleasures in life brought him great joy; his favorite chair, outdoor grilling, appreciation for a good meal, basking in the sun, and of course spending time with family and friends.

Along with his wife, Mark leaves behind his brother, Anthony Vaccaro, Jr. (Fran), several sister and brother in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and beloved co-workers.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories during a Walk Through Wake on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Interment will be private. Masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
