Maddalena Mylen

Mrs. Maddalena (Maddie) Mylen, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023 at Mozaic Senior Life in Bridgeport CT.

Born on January 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Carmello and Mary Grace Garofolo.  Maddie grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Harding High School. 

She spent her married life in Milford with her predeceased husband, James D. Mylen Sr.   Maddie is survived by her son James D. Mylen Jr and her daughter-in-law Mona Mylen of Westport, and her three grandchildren, Jack, Cole, and Gabriel Mylen. She is also survived by a brother, James Garofolo and two stepchildren, Peter and Michelle Mylen, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Maddie’s unstoppable spirit filled our lives with laughter and love.

A visitation will be held on Friday November 24, 2023, at Mountain Grove Cemetery in the Chapel at 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, CT from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm with a prayer service to take place at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow in the Mountain Grove Mausoleum. Please meet directly at the cemetery chapel.
