Lorraine (Blair) Denslow, 83, of New Haven, Connecticut, unexpectedly passed away on June 15, 2022. Born on October 19, 1938 in Burlington, Vermont, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Beatrice Blair. Lorraine graduated from Alburg High School. She retired from Stop & Shop Warehouse after many years of service. She was also employed as a school bus driver for many years, which she enjoyed.
Lorraine was a strong, nurturing, caring and lovable woman, who throughout her lifetime devoted herself to the people around her.
Lorraine is survived by her sons, Randal Mashtare of Milford, CT, Michael (Wanda) Mashtare Sr. of Nagaunee, MI, Joseph Perrella Jr. of North Haven, CT, Scott (Donna) Kwaak of Milford, CT, and Kerry Kwaak of New Haven, CT; her grandchildren Michael Mashtare Jr. and Melissa Mashtare, whom she raised as her own children, as well as 11 other grandchildren; her great grandchildren, Joelissa, Jomel, Joel and many other great grandchildren whom she adored. She is also survived by many extended family and friends. Lorraine was predeceased by her son Nicholas Kwaak.
We are heartbroken that you are not here with us, but we take comfort in knowing that you are with the angels.
Friends and family may gather on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the CODY WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD STREET, MILFORD, CT 06460. A prayer service will begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
