Lawrence Frank Albera, Jr.

Lawrence Frank Albera, Jr., 93, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Irene Albera, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2020. Born on August 28, 1926 in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Catherine and Lawrence F. Albera, Sr.   

Lawrence honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an active parishioner at Saint Gabriel Church in Milford. In his spare time, Lawrence enjoyed reading and cheering on his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and New York Rangers. Above all else, he was his grandchildren’s number one fan and biggest supporter. His presence will be missed but never forgotten.

Lawrence is survived by his children, Nancy (Leo) Chasse and Lawrence (Theresa) Albera; grandchildren, Cheryl, Tracy, Christopher, and Brittanie; a great grandchild on the way; and extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his siblings, Marie and John.

Services will be held at a later date. The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
