Joseph G. Lynch

Joseph G. Lynch, 92, of Milford, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2019. Joseph was born on April 17, 1927, in Nanticoke, PA to the late Thomas and Mary Lynch.

Joseph took pride in his work as a plumber in Bridgeport. He greatly enjoyed meeting and working with customers and relished the social aspects of his job. In his spare time, he liked taking photos. Joseph was a handyman who enjoyed tinkering and repairing things. He will be missed and remembered for his jokes, pranks and storytelling.

Joseph leaves behind his sons, Joseph W. (Mary) Lynch and Ricky (Debbie) Lynch; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his sisters, Mary DiBattista and Anne Lisk; and his brothers, James, Thomas, Raymond, Gerard, Patrick “Buddy” and Francis Lynch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish), 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Rigley Food Pantry, c/o Precious Blood Parish, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT 06460.
