Jack McCarthy

It is with great sadness that the family of Jack McCarthy announce his passing on December 29, 2018 at the age of 71. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sallie, of 47 years, his sons and daughters-in-law; CJ and Dawn, Michael and Leslie, and Kevin and Kristi. He loved being Papa to Jack, Samantha, Kailey, Morgan, Mason and Ryan. Jack is also survived by his brother, Dennis Broedlin and his wife Ellen; sister, Kathleen McCarthy; three nieces and one nephew.

Jack moved to The Villages in 2012 from Milford, Connecticut where he and Sallie lived for 39 years. He was a business analyst at ADP until his retirement in 2009. He was an internal optimist when it came to his sports teams, cheering on the New York Jets and Mets. Jack loved to golf, recording a hole in one in 2017, bowling, traveling with Sallie and was an active member of The Villages CIC organization.

Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Heart Association.
