Gladys Sporko

Gladys Sporko, 71, of Milford, CT, passed away in Hartford Hospital on May 22, 2018. Gladys was born September 18, 1946 in New York City, NY to the late George and Helen Guccione. She worked as a bookkeeper/cashier for First National Stores in Milford, CT. After retiring from the billing office at Milford Hospital, Gladys enjoyed vacationing in Florida and Las Vegas and visiting the casinos. 

She is survived by her loving husband, John; her beloved sons, Anthony and James; and her cherished grandson, Stuart. She is also survived by her brothers, Vincent and Peter. Gladys was predeceased by her brothers, Jimmy and Jerry; and her sister, Judy.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford, CT. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Milford Hospital, 300 Seaside Ave., Milford, CT 06460.
