Frederic M. Gordon, 74, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Deborah Gordon, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2021. Born on October 7, 1946 in Milford, he was the son of the late Wallace and Rita Gordon.
Frederic graduated from Jonathan Law High School in 1964 before enlisting in the Navy. After serving in the Vietnam war, Frederic went on to work at Sikorsky Aircraft for 35 years. He enjoyed listening to oldies, taking his daily walks along the beach, and spending time with family. “Fred”, as his friends and family called him, was a master at Jeopardy trivia and crossword puzzles. He loved caring for his cats, Charlotte and Dewey, and had a passion for animals and their well-being.
Frederic leaves behind his children, Michael (Rosa Conti), Scott, and Emily Gordon; grandchildren, Ashley and Samuel; siblings, Richard (Mary) Gordon and Elaine (George) Berendt; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Gordon.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. Military Honors will conclude calling hours at 6 p.m. At this time 50 people are allowed inside the building at a time and masks are required.
