Edward J. Barry

Edward Joseph Barry, 49, of Thornton, CO formerly of Milford, CT, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2019 in Utah. Born on October 29, 1969 in Bridgeport, he was the son of Edward and Barbara (Corcoran) Barry of Milford.   

Edward worked at the Mountain States Toyota of Denver, CO. He had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles .Every year he would ride his bike for the Toy Run at Children’s Hospital in Aurora, CO. Edward had a big heart, always giving more than he had to the ones he loved. His family, friends, and beloved dog Shadow were a special part of his life and will all miss him dearly.

Along with his parents, Edward is survived by his siblings, Keith Barry of Wallingford, Traci (Charlie) Cruz of Florida, and Craig (Erin) Barry of Milford; nephews, Xavier, Sebastian, and Jayden; aunts and uncles, Ree Amedy of Milford, Art and Mary Ann Corcoran of Fairfield, Jan and Kathy Corcoran of Middletown, and Clyde and Marlayne Penney of Maine; and many extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Oliver and Ethel Barry, and Art and Dorothy Corcoran.

Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 9 a.m. at Saint Gabriel Church (Saint Raphael Parish) 26 Broadway, Milford (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford.
