Dorathea M. Moore

Dorathea Moore, 92, of Milford, CT, beloved wife of the late Marshall P. Moore passed away peacefully on Sunday May 20, 2018.  Born on January 4, 1926 in New York she was the daughter of the late George and Charlotte Monroe.  

”Dottie” had been a resident of Milford, CT since the 1940’s and raised a family in the Bayview Beach area. She was a long-time volunteer at Milford Hospital through much of the 1960’s and active in St. Mary’s R.C. Church on Gulf street.

She is survived by her son, Charles Moore and two daughters, Patricia Maw, and Sarah Pavlick. She is the grandmother to nine grandchildren and has thirteen great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years Marshall P. Moore; and her two sons Marshall (Philip) Moore Jr., and James Brett Moore.

There will be no Funeral Services for Dorathea at her request and the family will hold a small private memorial this summer in celebration of her life.
