David Thomas Kohl

David Thomas Kohl, 55, of Milford, passed away on June 21, 2021. Born on April 30, 1966 in Joliet, IL, he was the son of Thomas P. Kohl and Dee Hiatt. He was an alumnus of Bunnell High School, Stratford, CT, The University of Connecticut (BA) and Southern Connecticut State University (MS). He worked as an environmental engineer. David loved the ocean, running, kayaking, fitness and spending time with family and friends.

Along with his parents, David leaves behind his siblings: Brian (Aline) Kohl, Andrew (Geetha) Kohl, Jody (Jason LaCourciere) Kohl and Molly (Markus Maurette) Kohl; nieces and nephews: Sara, Thomas, Emran, Emma, Henry, Brooke, Chase, Willa and Griffin; step-mother Madeleine Kohl, step-father George Gale, and many close friends.

People are welcome to join family and friends in celebrating David’s life on Thursday, July 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Riverview Bistro Restaurant, 946 Ferry Blvd., Stratford, CT, 06614 . The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT, 06460.
