Christopher William Kaus

Christopher “Chris” Kaus, 53 of Orange passed Wednesday May 9th 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Chris was born in Milford, CT on March 31, 1965 son of the late Charles and Shirley Kaus.  He will be sadly missed by his love of 30 years Tammy Pehler, daughter Kristi Pascarella (John), and three sisters Shelley Dooling (Thomas), Alice Jeppesen (Gary), and Laurie Kaus (Paul). He also leaves his grandson John Christopher and several nieces and nephews. A loving partner, father, brother, grandpa, and a friend to many who will always remember him as a fun, hardworking, & generous man.

Chris was a dedicated employee of KX Industries working as a Maintenance Mechanic a place he very much enjoyed. He could do anything he set his mind to, a self- taught handy man who would give the shirt off his back to those whom he loved. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, working in the yard, fishing, wilderness, and spending time with his friends and family. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St, Milford, CT. Interment will be private. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Smilow Cancer Hospital in Chris’ honor.
