Barbara Ann Rosiak

Barbara Ann Rosiak, 80, of Milford, beloved wife of Franklin D. Rosiak, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2021. Barbara was born on December 22, 1940 in Hulls Cove, Maine to the late John and Virginia Milesi.

Barbara was an incredibly strong, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her love and care created an immense bond that held the family together. If you knew Barbara, you knew the wonderful person she was and all the positive qualities she embodied. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting items for her family and friends and sitting on her swing in the backyard. Barbara also loved spending winters in Florida enjoying time with friends.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her loving children, Raymond Rosiak, Debbie (Pete) Corkery and Douglas (Jean) Rosiak; siblings, Sterling (Corace) Bunker, Diane (Ray) Williams, Joann LaClair, Terry (Sam) Goran, Charles Denbow and Julie (Ron) Ward; brother-in-law, Tore Stenqvist; several adored grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her sister, Doris Stenqvist, brother-in-law John LaClair, and son-in-law Daniel Hespelt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ the Redeemer Church, 325 Oronoque Rd., Milford, CT. Contributions in Barbara’s memory may be made to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
